Diamonds PD

Diamonds PD

Made by Alex Meub

A Playdate tribute to the 1990s puzzle classic by Varcon Systems. Steer a constantly-bouncing ball to break pattern-matched tiles as fast as you can. Your ball only clears blocks that share its current pattern, and "brush" tiles change what it can break. Collect diamonds for score, grab keys to unlock doors, and dodge skulls across 70 hand-crafted levels with six balls per run.

When you've finished the campaign, use the web-based level editor to create custom levels. Generate a 5-character code to load them right on your Playdate.

  • Based on the original game Diamonds by Varcon Systems (1992, Macintosh)
  • Game art created using Ditherpaint by John Earnest
