Glider Retro
Made by Konstantin Popov
John Calhoun's Macintosh classic, on Playdate.
You're a paper airplane trying to find your way out of the house. Ride warm air from floor vents, squeeze past furniture and stay clear of candles. It's a long way to the next doorway when you're made of paper.
Collect clocks for points, use batteries for a little extra lift and pop balloons with rubber bands for extra lives. Each room has its own route to figure out, and there's usually something tempting just out of reach.
In this Playdate port
- 63 rooms across two connected houses
- Original Macintosh artwork and sounds
- Scrolling rooms adapted to the smaller screen
- D-pad or optional crank steering
- Save your progress and come back later
- Local high scores and an online leaderboard
Glider Retro is an independent port of Glider 4.0 (1991), made with love for old Mac games.
