PADDLE vs PADDLE

PADDLE vs PADDLE

Made by Isaac Bernat

Two players. One console. Zero hassle!

Paddle vs Paddle brings real-time local multiplayer to the Playdate. Share the screen with a friend and compete shoulder-to-shoulder in intense arcade action!

  • Asymmetric Controls: Use the Crank for uniquely asymmetric control schemes or the A/B buttons for classic matches. It’s a memorably fun party game to pull out at a pub or on the couch.
  • Play Fair (or don't ;D): Granular handicaps let you adjust paddle sizes and speeds individually. Give a kid a huge paddle and an adult a tiny one for a perfectly balanced duel!
  • Wild Game Modes: Relive the '70s in Old School, embrace Chaos or build and save your own custom modes!
  • Adjustable Feel: Tune the physics engine to your exact liking. Customize bounce acceleration, paddle recoil, motion trails, shockwaves, explosive particles, reactive audio and more!
  • Solo Play: No friends around? Challenge the built-in AIs!

Paddle vs Paddle, the ultimate pocket duel.

  • This game's developer created it without the use of generative AI.
  • We think this game is appropriate for everyone.
  • Paddle vs Paddle can be fast paced and require quick reflexes, but this is entirely adjustable. The intensity of particle effects, screen shake and physics can also be reduced in the menus to ensure everyone is comfortable. In local multiplayer, two players must stay physically close to share the console. Player controls are configurable between the D-Pad, A and B buttons or the crank (which requires more precision). The console should be held firmly or rest on a flat surface to avoid accidental slipping during matches.
